No, he did NOT do the right thing. What he did got him killed, and put his girlfriend at extreme risk of being killed. He should have called 911 or called local authorities.
I admit that I might have made exactly the same mistake he did.
I have known two women who were violently raped, one of whom was also tortured and killed, because they stopped to help an apparently stranded motorist. It is such a nasty, devish trick to use a person’s instinct to help against them.
This story has an added element in the “off grid camp” where the guilty parties lived. It strikes me as a sign of more to come as O’biden continues to build back better.
May the woman whose man laid down his life for her find the peace of Christ out of these circumstances.
A lesson for us all.
