Sounds like an opportunity to start a 2A friendly shipping service.
Put a tracker in the package.
Find out where UPS is stashing that ammo.
They need to rename their distribution companies and warehouses to “GoodLife Nutrition” or something, so UPS doesn’t know it is ammo
No, I put in exactly the same number of claims as I got from customers who did not receive their shipment
Get out of Atlanta to start with
I think they’re required to put the orm D label on the box though, which is a tell of what’s inside.
In packaging class we learned FedEx has a package loss rate of 0.1%-0.2%. The professor who taught the class worked for FedEx.
Now we see UPS has a 33% loss rate. That’s not loss, that’s theft. It is criminal.
By the way the USPS has a much better loss rate than 33%, so even the government does better by about a factor of 30.
So far, I’ve not had any UPS delivery problems.
Simpl;e solution.
Insure all shipments. Insurance companies are ruthless with scammers and thieves
Not to take sides in this issue, but I will say that in the past I have ordered 500 rounds of 9mm at a time and have had it delivered to my doorstep with the cardboard box broken open.
Ammo is surprisingly dense, and if too thin of an outer box is used, the box can break open rather easily.
oooooooohhh. worth the money.
I believe packages are tracked.
When I order from newegg I can find out where my order has been:
Received at...CA
Received at...Memphis
Received at...Orlando
Received at...Sarasota
On delivery truck
I suspect it’s an unscrupulous ups driver or drivers that pick up regularly at the ammo factory.
Once they know what is basically in the package it’s game on after that......probably being sold to gangs IMO.
“Get out of Atlanta to start with”
That would certainly help
Yup. Simply open a private mailbox service location, and label it “Clinton Sex Toys Company”. They wont touch it..
Working in Hollywood, people ever wonder why USPS does not deliver to celebs addresses? There is a “private service” which does that.
Yep. Inside job is my guess.
Six or seven years back,I ordered a case (1000 rounds) of 7.62x39 from a company who shipped it UPS. I had tracking info on it and watched it until it hit the distribution center in Atlanta. It ‘disappeared’ from there. The company shipped me another case, so no loss to me. But you know that missing case was sold on the streets to gangs or who knows who...
What you are saying indicates that there is a safety issue.
It is up to the seller/shipper to ensure their packaging permits safe handling & transport.
