But I gather the key is “bodily fluids”. While some mention is made of “respiring”, it never seems to be the primary discussion point for the disease.
The problem with homo men is they use the bunghole, not meant for it, and easily torn by something big not meant to enter it backwards. You get tears, you get direct route into bloodstream.
That I believe is why homos are the problem now, and primarily. Doesn’t mean it won’t spread to others, via OTHER bodily fluids, or cuts and wounds elsewhere. But homo men “sex” basically guarantees those open wounds to let in virus.

First, try enforcing that. Second, that's not the only way the disease is transmitted. Members of a household are at risk and should be vaccinated ASAP.
Yep. The elderly ladies in my bridge club were all concerned about getting it until I pointed out that it was a homosexual men's disease and they could relax.

The only thing that makes being homosexual worth all the down sides is getting all the homo sex you can.
The problem is any attempt to limit behavior that spreads the pox will be labeled discriminatory. The gays will claim they’re being singled out because of their sexual orientation. Past experience has shown us gays don’t just get a virus, they get a virus with civil rights.
Since there is a vaccine, it should be a simple matter to vaccinate the whole group plus close contacts. The Jynneos Smallpox vaccine is orders of magnitude safer than the old style Smallpox vaccine. It is safe to give to people with compromised immune systems and eczema, and is part of the US strategic vaccine stockpile. We need to pull out more from the stockpile and replenish the stockpile with more to at least double the size of the Jynneos component.
Monkey pox turns up in sub-Saharan Africa because people hunt monkeys for food there. Somebody handling raw meat from an infected monkey can get it.
In the US, we don’t typically have people handling raw money meat, so the other avenue of spreading becomes primary.
If you regularly have anal sex with one partner (and your partner does the same), you have a low probability of getting HIV, Aids, or Monkey Pox. If you have anal sex with dozens of partners, most of whom you never met before that night, the probability goes through the roof.

I was referring to your implication that homos get monkeypox, period.
Yes, chances go up if you have multiple playmates, vs picking just one. Also goes up if you have homo relations vs some totally bland lifestyle. But monkeypox really is not just a homo disease. They just create great venues for catching it compared to others.
So yes, it’s definitely not just anal sex. You seemed to imply it was at first. It’s just some activities are riskier than others.
But it’s not highly transmissible from my reading. Not like COVID, to wit.
