Any collateral damage to family and associates that they cause along the way is just gravy.
They are failing because they are driving independents to Trump and the right next elections

Definitely ... and tarnish the Republican Party brand which is their bigger goal. As Trump says they are not just going after him.
Dems want to ensure Republicans never influence or control any of the three branches of government again. It is an aggressive long term agenda.
