Juan has this knack for creating a make-believe-world as he would have it — and then moving in. Asking him to honestly analyze a problem of public policy starts with GoP = bad, and then moves to the way things are in Juan-land.
While I agree with your assessment, I think Eugene Robinson is several rungs lower on the IQ ladder. ER has been several eggs short of a dozen for decades.
