I just do not understand why these folks are not learning from years worth of examples that bending a knee to the prog not only does not work, it only makes things worse.

I have never been confronted by any misinformed or highly misguided prog spouting "say their name" or demanding I publicly apologize for this or that BS du jour they might be trying to sell.

Perhaps it is the 20" steel Bonowi baton I have hanging out of my belt, which is legal here in Texas.
