CS Lewis wrote a short essay, “Living in an Atomic Age.” It’s message is to not allow your life to be governed by fear.
The mesage works if the bogie man is the atom bomb, covid, or a kleptocratic WWF government.
It’s not a function of enjoying it or endorsing it. It’s knowing the difference between what one can change, and what one cannot change.
You are correct we the People have lost and the politicians have won just as been taking place for 200 plus years. Only a matter of time before more people know we lost
