It’s sort of like the lack of interest shown in Ray Epps, who repeatedly called for people to go into the Capitol, but who hasn’t been arrested. I don’t know if he has even been questioned.
Also, who unlocked the magnetic doors on the building?
Why are people shown in video being waved in by officers, holding doors open for them, being charged with trespassing?
Why are so many hours of video inside the building being withheld?
Epps has supposedly been questioned by the Jan 6 Committee and is the only person protesting that day that the Committee has treated as a saint. They claim there is a transcript of his testimony to the Committee but Chairman Benny Thompson said they can't release it now but that it might be released sometime in the future... maybe.
Epps was questioned, and the committee praised him for his “cooperation.” Probably a CYA thing.
People who came in through the White House side (West side) of the capitol opened the magnetic locks for people to come in on the East side.
None of these questions will be asked or answered during these so-called hearings. I have read that the committee will use some previously recorded testimony. If they do this, they can frame a part of someone’s testimony any they want so that there’s no possibility of anyone even bringing up any uncomfortable (for Dems) questions. It is very discouraging.
