I'm not sure if they moved it or if I miscopied the url. But I was able to find it by searching for the 2020 hate crimes.

It looks like they moved it.
The orginial url said ../hate-statistics

Now it’s ../hate-crime-statistics

Of course, while this FBI reporting tells you that black offenders are being charged with proportionally more hate crimes. It doesn’t capture whether there is bias in naming the crime a “hate crime”.

Blacks could be committing 35% of hate crimes but not being charged as often as white offenders.

Alternatively the bias could go in the other direction. The cops/prosecutors could charge blacks more often relative to the crimes they commit. One possible motive for doing so is that they think the hate crime laws will be applied in a discriminatory fashion and therefore they introduce bias to compensate for their expectation of bias.

Clearly I’m over thinking this.
