You’re the one who was making the claim the warheads were megaton when they weren’t.

You continue to claim 475 is half of 1000. And you claim you trained on nukes?! I hope you were more precise….but I question that.

You claimed the individual warheads were in megatons…but they’re not in reality. I certainly hope in your training exercises when your officer called for a precise action to happen you didn’t say say it’s close enough.

We still only have 14 SSBNs….not the 19 you claimed Putin not withstanding. It’s really that simple. And there is a real difference between a SSBN and a SSGN. Your opinion is irrelevant on this issue.

Will the TRIAD remain the same? Probably not. But for this discussion we only have 14 SSBNs for that part of the TRIAD. And the subs carrying cruise missiles are classed as SSGN. Not SLGN.

I’m really questioning if you really served considering your errors in this discussion.

Your argument would have been accurate if you’d said the Ohios could unleash an attack that could be measured in megatons….depending on the option selected. Or it could be an attack measured in kilotons….again depending on the option.

10,000 men x 6,000 ships = 60 million men. But you can put a couple million in the USA ahead of time, a couple million in Mexico in care of the drug cartels, and a couple hundred thousand scattered around Canada. NUke the west coast in surprise attack. nuke the USN pacific fleet in surprise attack. If 4000 aircraft in Ukraine, and 4000 are in Taiwan, what exactly is left to defend the west coast? A million flood up from Mexico, and Long Beach and Los Angeles start unloading container ships full of men and material. With all our armor in Ukraine, and all our ammunition already spent, its a few thousand National Gaurdsmen, plus the reserves, and .223 rifles v. whatever they can land in Mexico and California. And dont’ leave out they would be attacking our forts and munition supplies from the kick-off.
Russia_China believes they can win WW3, conquer NATO, conquer USA.
