So, if the USA gets attacked we should just stand down?
My AFSC is far to advanced for you to understand.
Ukraine and Russia will settle.
Why you have picked Ukraine as your line in the sand is beyond me.
Send your blood and fortune to a war that has no effect on the USA.
“So, if the USA gets attacked we should just stand down?”
Talk about a non-sequitur! Son, you need to go back to school and learn elementary logic.
“My AFSC is far to advanced for you to understand.”
The word is TOO, not TO. Clearly, whatever your AFSC, it required little to no intelligence. Food Services? Pots and Pans?
“Ukraine and Russia will settle.”
Well, duh! Sherlock. All wars eventually settle in one way or another.
“Why you have picked Ukraine as your line in the sand is beyond me.”
Another fallacy. Forget what I said about elementary logic: Even THAT is too advanced for you.
“Send your blood and fortune to a war that has no effect on the USA.”
Everything that happens in the world has some effect on us, even tangentially. You sound like an isolationist. Isolationism was okay at one time in history. But in the modern world distance is no longer a defense; hell, in many respects it has been rendered meaningless.
Isolationists always hope the bear, or the dragon, or whatever will eat them last. But wouldn’t it have been better if — before you were the last, and on your own — there were still others on the food chain, others that, with you, could muzzle the bear, or slay the dragon?
Russia is a bear. China is a dragon. And both of them are looking at us. And neither is our friend.
That’s reality.
