I think it’s important. Having been on Glenn Beck when he touted my film “Rockin’ the Wall,” even though we did not have any conditions, Glenn graciously ran the production main credits. If you are investing money-—Dinesh’s movie had to cost probably $3m at least-—people deserve to get recognized for ponying up.
Moreover, it is not acceptable for the television show, without the producer’s permission, to cut a trailer. Trailers are mini-movies. Their purpose is to sell the film. Unless the producer agrees, they need to be run in their entirety. In the case Carlson’s team mentioned, the producers obviously allowed Fox to cut the trailer themselves. If the television show demands YOU cut it, well, you might choose to (because it’s its own little film) but that costs considerable $ in editing.
Dinesh is right, and is correct to call them out.
Anyone still watching Fox Snooze is a mind farmed dupe. They are the controlled opposition at best.
