Think of all the "shared suffering" the world has endured from this sick philosophy:

* 40mm+ dead to Communism
* 100s of million sharing their suffering under it
* 50mm+ Americans stuck in entrenched poverty
* 100s mm Americans suffering from public education
* 100s mm Americans suffering under crap government health care

The list could go on forever...
