To claim that the media propaganda is to blame may work with some Americans who don’t know much about the history of Central and Eastern Europe. It WON’T work with us in Central Europe. We don’t need any media propaganda to tell us what Russia and Russian despotism are all about. We know it from our personal experience. How can you dispute that?
When was Russia US-friendly? The Russian idea of the government is a total opposite of the vision of the American Founding Fathers.
The most rabid anti Russian, anti-communist people I know are friends who lived in Czechoslovakia until they came to America in the early 80’s.
