The 10-12,000 tanks are all rusting, parted out, some engine-less hulks. Russia only has around 2,500 tanks in running condition. Plus they have not produced a new tank in 10 years, and cannot not because of chip shortages. Their armored vehicle situation is not much better, but running ones are far less than the number quoted.
Fixing any of the hulks is beyond expensive, plus most of the money would be stolen before one wrench turned.
Yeah, that sounds very believable... Thank God, we have a Russian military expert to tell us how bad things really are going for the poor souls in their military. I guess they are going to have to rely on the nuclear war heads aimed at us to keep Moscow from being overrun.
