A little blast from the past:
After crossing the line of departure in the Gulf War, American and Allied forces destroyed over 3,000 tanks in under 100 hours. A lot more of other types of vehicles.
In one contact (73 Easting), now retired LTG H.R. McMaster, then a Cavalry Captain, engaged the Iraqi Republican Guards Elite Tawakalna Division. His 9 M1A1 tanks of Eagle Troop (2nd ACR) destroyed 28 Iraqi (Russian) tanks, 16 personnel carriers and 30 trucks in 23 minutes with no American losses.
When we set our minds to killing tanks, we know how to get it done. The Western artillery and armor on its way into the Ukraine is going to have its effects. It sucks to be a Russian in one of their bomb magnets, and it is probably going to suck even worse in the future.
I’m really hopeful the western arms can allow UA to go on the offensive.
