I've never been undercover, never been law enforcement.
However, I'm pretty sure if you were an undercover agent one of the principle tenets of being undercover is to maintain your cover ID - ie. not run around telling random people (such as teenagers at a fast food joint) that you're an under cover agent. ;-)

Are you talking about a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License? Mine looks pretty much like a diver's license. Never had a badge.

I completely ignorant of Florida’s concealed carry laws. I was just commenting on what I took from the article, being that the CWP was a badge of some kind. Others have pointed out that it was an after market “badge” designed to look like something official. I would stay away from the badges if I were you. They don’t seem to serve any good purpose.
