It is an intentionally bad movie – in a good way - and they are making Kung Fury 2 to be released later this year.
“ Officially the worst movie ever made was the Rocky Horror Picture Show.”
Ha, reminds me of how my sister used to go out with her friends late into the night to see this all the time. I am unsure if she ever actually went to the movie. Maybe once or twice
For the rebate.
My only excuse for watching this was that I regularly attended free movie nights at college and this was one of them.
It was generally praised for the music and cinematography, but a polished turd is still a turd.
I am doing everyone a favor by NOT providing a link.
Anyone who doesn’t pick “The Creeping Terror” is wrong. Period.
I love Citizen Kane. I always find it fascinating every time I watch it. It is not about Hollywood. It is about a press lord who is based on various people including Hearst and McCormick.
Movies about Hollywood include films like The Bad & the Beautiful and Sunset Boulevard. Hollywood does not particularly like movies about Hollywood, particularly if it makes Hollywood look bad.
That movie was a glorification of evil... but it might help future criminals psychologists understand the nature of the worst of the worst psychopaths.
Yes, it’s derived from Hamlet, but it just takes those 2 characters and basically gives you 90 minutes of them having a conversation, with no other real relation to the rest of the play and no action or development except for the character development you get to watch along the course of their dialogue.
I rarely watch movies, as I am a tough critic and don’t usually find the tripe that they put out in the least bit interesting.
However, a few years back I got talked into watching the most incredibly stupid movie about some female boxer. I think it was called Million Dollar Baby? Something like that? My former neighbor went and saw it at the show several times, plus bought the movie and insisted I watch it.
I remember sitting there watching and waiting to something to get to a point, something to start. Before I knew it, it was over and I was livid that I’d spend a couple of hours watching it. That was the last time I got talked into watching some bilge from Hollywood.
Mission Impossible 3. Turned it off after the first 20 minutes because it meandered so badly.
Or maybe “The Last Flight of Noah’s Ark”. First movie I ever walked out of.
“There is a Director’s Cut of Highlander 2 that makes it slightly better.”
yea and i just read about it on imdb.
upgraded effects and stuff.
I think i just found it on Tubi.
It’s called “Highlander 2: The Renegade Version”
i’ll look up the Alien movie
THANKS :)
“Three Kings” Hollyweird HAD to trash the military after everyone else was thinking highly of US troops..
The movie was filmed in some sort of chemical dump and many of the actors and the director died early from cancer.
From the posts in this thread I am pretty certain that many folks would add "Stalker" near the top of their lists of bad movies or movies-to-walk-out-on. The majority of the movie is three guys walking gingerly through a wasteland toward some magical location which they ultimately are too afraid to approach.
Check out this Qoute from Micheal Ironside regarding Highlander II: The Quickening...
Michael Ironside recalled his experiences on this movie: “Yeah, listen, I hated that script. We all did. Me, Sean, Chris, we all were in it for the money on this one. I mean, it read as if it had been written by a thirteen-year-old boy. But I’d never played a barbarian swordsman before, and this was my first big evil mastermind-type. I figured if I was going to do this stupid movie, I might as well have fun, and go as far over the top as I possibly could. All that eye-rolling and foaming at the mouth was me deciding that if I was going to be in a piece of shit, like that movie, I was going to be the most memorable fucking thing in it, and I think I succeeded.”
Kinda wish he had told me before buying a ticket...
LOL
