35 years ago I was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and was told I would “have to learn to live with it”. Seven years later I was given a mega-antibiotic treatment for a separate subcutaneous infection. The Dr told me ... “This will kill everything in you but you.”
The next morning I coughed up something that looked like a couple of inches of ski rope and, viola!, no more bronchitis!
Never give up.
