If covid can be weaponized, then the military is within its authority to require its troops to be protected. I do think that natural antibodies are better than these synthetic ones generated by the shot. The judges should have required an antibody test before forcing this LTC out of service

Byron White never held a judicial position until JFK appointed him to the Supreme Court, so he had no record of decisions that we can compare, before and after.
After law school, White did clerk with Chief Justice Fred Vinson, who was a life long Democrat and liberal.
White was a private practice Denver business lawyer after WW2, and in 1961 he was appointed to the #2 job at the Department of Justice, under RFK.
His job at DOJ was focused almost exclusively on school desegregation. As a Supreme Court justice, he supported forced busing and Affirmative Action.
On balance, he was more Conservative than Liberal, but probably no more Conservative than most of the southern Democrat Senators who voted for him in 1962.
I applaud the decision.
The military has rules and claiming all sorts of exemptions at the last minute are BS.
If this was a muslim or lesbian asking for an exception to military rules, most here would want the rules enforced.
Well, like it or not, the military sets rules for vaccinations. If you don’t like it, then get discharged or resign. But don’t ask for special treatment.

However, there is clear medical evidence that Covid natural immunity is at least as good as Covid vaccine, and maybe even better.
Very hard to understand why peer reviewed medical evidence has been completely excluded from this case.
Also, the military has many religious exemptions - once again, hard to understand why none of them apply in this case.

She is a walking, talking DISASTER.

I agree that natural immunity is the best, but I do not want the Supreme Court to decide what is medically real and what is not.
This case was about the military making a rule and someone asking for an exemption. The rule stands even if it is based in bad science.
If you open this can of worms, then courts will determine what is a scientific fact and what is not in the context of their political ideology. I do not want that.
No, unlawful orders are identified and disobeyed quite often in the military. I even witnessed individuals ask for a court martial and be exonerated.
Yet Trump continues to listen the same idiots that gave us Barrett and Kavanaugh.

“What’s past is prologue”. If one paid attention to where Barrett and Kavanaugh came from their actions to date are not so surprising. While I think Robert’s is compromised is some manner, I think B & K are just being who they are. K was handpicked by Kennedy because he wanted another weak minded moderate in his seat. B went to undergraduate school at Rhodes College which is ultra liberal, and she’s the only Justice who didn’t go to Harvard or Yale ( a plus in my opinion, but may be intimidated by that fact).
Get it...but when do human rights apply in the military? Should you be subjected to torture to see what works? Should you have your religious rights deliberately mocked for fun?
At what point is the ‘ask’ unreasonable? illegal? When was the last time a service member died due to _not_ taking a shot?
The standard CANNOT be ‘it was an order so do it’....especially when ‘just following orders’ is not an excuse for war crimes.
Many would argue that injecting a substance, where the benefit and consequences aren’t fully understood, violate a persons right to say ‘no’.
Our Republic is in serious peril due to the Left’s total monopoly over communication and education.

I think picking on one Supreme Court decision is missing the point - the real question is:
Why did Fauci’s wrong-headed mandates hold so much power, and how were thousands of dissenting doctors and scientists so thoroughly silenced?
Our problem is not the SC justices or elected politicians being too liberal - it is the crippling monopoly the Left has over the public square.
When people watch “the news” or go to college, they want to believe they are hearing all sides of the debate - but they are not. They are being brainwashed, and it has been happening for a long time.

Absolutely, and now the government owns healthcare workers through CMS since the SC ruling.
Get the shots, or you are not employable in healthcare. People with kids have been forced to choose between injections and the most basic need to survive.
For both it was predicted by thoughtful conservatives.
