revelation doesn’t say that...the horseman is told not to harm the wine and oil.
Let’s see the verses that claim that!
There is also no proof that this is the apocalyptic age as opposed to those other times in history like say WW2 where there was also famine and food shortages in many places. Now what is going on could be the start of the apocalypse but it will all come out as we watch and observe.
The wine and the oil are grown farther south of the great breadbaskets where most of the grains are grown. Breadbaskets like the Ukraine, BTW.
So, yeah, it actually does say that given the realities of how and where these are grown these days, whereas before industrial farming that would have not really been the case (and grains were grown profitably in many places simply because shipping was more expensive) and this prophesy difficult to fulfill.
And as I said the disruption of the breadbaskets can be achieved by global cooling or by wars, etc.
Oh, and furthermore during the little optimum it was possible to grow grapes farther north than now, so as the breadbaskets were really starting to transition away from those known in Classical times it would not have yet been the case that you could disrupt the grain growing areas but not the wine growing ones.
The climate had to again cool enough to once again shift wine production farther south.
