LOL! Thank you Mr Cleese. Feel sorry for the sxsw folks? Never! Disdain/contempt/scorn come to mind and there's plenty of that for the self centered hoity toity virtue signaling assclowns. So, was everything powered by renewables this time? Were all items associated with petro products banned? Probably not.

I love it. Here in Tulsa there is a huge reparations campaign going on versus the Race Riot years ago.
Digging up grave yards(not finding squat) and seeking reparations in the name of the game.
I’ll remember this little diddy if I ever decide to add a comment to our local news site. I’ll be royally flamed.

John Cleese has always been good at making absurd statements - for the very purpose to show how absurd they are.

Mr. Cleese, I’d like you to meet Dr. Cosby. He can tell you some of what your future is likely to be.

Cleese sounds like he is plagiarizing Thucydides' "Melian Dialogue."

And now for something completely different.
A woke music festival in Texas.

Then there is also the fact that Britain was one of the first nations on the planet that outlawed slavery, and enforced that where they could.
