It's Come On Take A Chance by Gene McDaniels (1961). It's definitely in my top ten. I grew up listening to this one, so of course it's going to be special to me. It's the flip side of A Hundred Pounds Of Clay.
The lyrics of this one are full of newsmakers and celebrities. In later versions, the reference to Premier Patrice Lumumba of Congo Léopoldville was cut out following his murder in January, 1961, but this is the original.
