What I tell young men is there is a very simple solution to this problem—if you want to marry a woman make sure she has better job prospects and wealth than you do.
Then suddenly the risk/reward analysis looks a lot different....

And she ends up with more SS than you who looks like the calculating soy boy that you are.
Outlive her and the “calculating soy boy” becomes a wealthy soy boy.
