Has there been a run on banks, either physical or just doing electronic transfers to non-Canadiam banks? Or is this just our side being hopeful that those supporting Trudeau will be punished?
Yes, there was a run on banks in CA.
Also, kinda hard to seize assets from folks when they are still paying off loans to the banks, then freeze the bank accounts.
My guess: I few calls from bank ceo’s explaining reality to them.
Four major Canadian banks went off-line (hacking or overload?). Also, indication that the number of withdrawals increased. So, maybe signs of a bank-run.

But nothing in the major business papers. However, given the fact that the Canadian authorities backtracked the funds freezing after only a few days the conclusion seems obvious!
