The commercials cost a lot of money and you better know the company’s marketing department is studying exactly who makes up the audience likely to view the commercials and what appeals to them.
That would make sense but a lot of what corporate America is doing right now doesn’t make sense. I think they want the pc points so bad they will lose money over it.
A local bar/restaurant has an interracial couple in their ad on the local weather station. I won’t go because of that commercial. Call me whatever you want. Done playing their games.
What drives them is propagandizing their virtue signaling more than the effectiveness of their ads.
Besides, there are enough guilt ridden whites and whites addicted to the boob tube that they figure they can get away with denigrating the crackers. In fact they get kudos for doing so.
Yes and no. That applied a lot more in the past. Marketers know they're not selling the ad as much to the greatly diminished viewing market as to the woke whackjob running marketing for the korporation buying the ad.
