The sports and entertainment plantation...

I never really understood the entertainment value of sports. Probably because in my mind sports is a competition whereas entertainment is not, there are competative aspects in entertainment such as “the best” this, or “the most glamorous” that...

Sports on the other hand seeks to annihilate from the beinging of the event until the event is over. How is that considered entertainment?

I lost all interest in “sports” once the “showboats” took over. Supposedly grown individuals acting like a bunch of spoiled little brats.

The entertainment value of sports is that all the bars and restaurants can have something common on in the background. Its a social leveler.
