Sounds like that county residents have a case for not paying state income tax.
No state income taxes in Washington, at least not yet. We have a sales tax. I live in this county and am glad our county commissioners let us know about the state not accepting help based on vaccine policy. We had 2+ feet of snow in one day...major mess for a few days to say the least.
