Did Cancun Cruz apologize for using those words?
If not, why not?
Cruz claims that he always calls people who attack policeman “terrorists“. He says he’s been doing this for years. Well, I want to see the videos. I give him credit for going on Tucker but he lost. I don’t like Trump’s calling people names but Lyin Ted fits.
I watched it. I don’t think he apologized, but he admitted that it was a dumb mistake. He was really tap dancing.
He basically kept trying to say that they were ill chosen words. That he was referring specifically to persons who attacked police officers. Tucker pushed back against the idea that punching police officers constituted ‘terrorism.’ He cited his work getting 11 Senators to oppose certification of some electoral votes.. etc.... Tucker wasn’t buying the ill chosen words part.. citing his intelligence and carefulness with words.
