Ted Cruz on Tucker Carlson
vanity | December 6th, 2021 | self

Tucker Carlson hosted Ted Cruz tonight. Cruz tried to minimize his comments re: 'terrorist attacks' on the Capitol. Tucker didn't let him off easy. Citing his intelligence and carefulness with words, Tucker pushed back against the Senator's explanations.

Trump fights back. About time ! The left does worse than call names.

Turning the other cheek gets your ass kicked.

Call a neurologist and get a spine.

Yes, they would rather lose and stay in the minority than rule with a conservative president like Reagan.

Texans are being fleeced despite a state natural disaster price gouging law that should apply to natural gas and electricity.

I will not vote for Abbott in the Primary, but I probably will have to vote for him in the General.

“I was speaking of GOP Senators.”

Yeah,

I see that now.

I should’ve caught that one.

Did you see it? Your opinion? Did Ted Cruz vindicate himself... do you accept his apology?

Unforced error by Cruz. It certainly doesn't raise my estimation of him. Is it a deal breaker? I'd support Trump or DeSantis before I'd support Cruz in a primary, but if he won the primary I'd vote for Cruz.

T.Cruz is either the biggest fool on the planet, or a loyal
patriot in allowing himself be used in such a fashion.
Frankly, believe the patriot version is only wishful thinking. His antics in transforming himself into NBC have
certainly made the fool reference more pronounced.
Eh? Ted, what say you?

Does Cruz routinely call people who attack cops terrorists? If he does, I’m willing to give him a slight benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was just being consistent. Even so, characterizing any part of what happened on Jan. 6 as a terrorist attack was just about the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen Cruz do. He’s well aware of the political climate and how the Democrats and the media will misconstrue anything any Republican says to use it as a political weapon. I’m thinking of Trump’s “fine people” comments where Trump specifically excluded neo-nazis and others of that ilk. That didn’t matter to his enemies. They went full on with the lie that Trump called neo-nazis fine people. Cruz knows the game, and he should have known better.

Texans were mad at Cruz because 1000’s were left without power…and heat
while he, his wife and kids were soaking up the Sun in Cancun.
He of course did not cause the power outage, but it was very bad optics
for him. Deserting his state.
