She should change her last name then. It has racist origins.

Who does Cooney think she is; a NY Times reporter? Rittenhouse should stick it to her for millions.

Apparently Kara Cooney lied. Considering the publicity this case received, it is hard to believe she didn’t know that he shot white guys.

And YOW! Did you see this? This, according to a reviewer, is the context of the academic gal's assertion in the book:
Cooney incorrectly states Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed “two Black men in Kenosha, Wisconsin,” which Cooney wrote occurred while Rittenhouse was “waging a glorious race war on behalf of his inherited White power.”
Publishers are held to the highest standards of accountability where plagiarism and libel laws are concerned, since it's part of their daily business.
Kyle will be able to retire soon.

Her name is Cooney? Does she know that is a racist trigger?

waging a glorious race war on behalf of his inherited White power.” Waging a “glorious race war” on “behalf of inherited White Power” huh?
By killing two white men?
To: Drastic
It’s a symptom of the media. LOADS of people were utterly convinced that he shot black men - then didn’t believe it once they heard the truth.
It doesn’t surprise me...why bother to check what is ‘common knowledge’?
The media is the enemy of the people.

Libel instead of slander for a change, so that’s nice. Good luck retracting your words.

As usual, no one has read the libel:
"Or consider 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, who used his semi-automatic weapon to kill two Black men in Kenosha, Wisconsin, while waging a glorious race war on behalf of his inherited White power. That's not to mention the White people who rallied behind him to post his bail. Fear has gripped the patriarchy, and the threat of righteous violence -- or the lethal use of it -- is the patriarchy's response."

And for those who somehow think this bitch isn't scared shitless, her Twitter feed has gone from offhanded "so what?" replies yesterday, to a groveling, specific apology this afternoon.
Someone (likely National Geographic, the laughably woke publisher who know$ they are on the hook even more than this nutroot) has had a come-to-Jesus meeting with the perfesser, and jerked the everlasting slack out of her fat ass:

And of course she capitalized “black” and didn’t capitalize “white”.

So yeah, tiny detail of the book with a big mistake about a massive American issue. And that’s on me. But the white supremacy is still a problem. And the misogyny is still a problem.
