Any Jews on this forum thought about emigrating to Israel, a country who is not committing suicide? Never in my long life would I have considered that tortured country safer than my own.

I know someone who worked as a contractor in Saudi. He had a never ending stream of stories about the idiots and their incompetence with mechanics and tech. And each perp was an arrogant SOB who never ever admitted a mistake. There’s a reason they have to hire so much foreign labor. They wouldn’t have utilities at all otherwise.
And then there’s the guy who worked with the Saudi pilots who train in the USA. More wild tales of arrogance and stupidity.

There is a big problem in Islamic culture. They disdain this world and life and are promised all those good things after they die. They take life very casually, even their own. There are numbers here whispered that 80% of all traffic accidents are from Arabs when they are just 20% of the population. You hear about crazy accidents with them all the time.
I used to live in Hollywood where there is a substantial population of middle easterners. So I have experience with this. As a rule they are even worse than the older Chinese drivers, who usually drive at 10mph. Yes very racist, but stereotypes come from somewhere.
Both cultures are heavy on fatalism. Well, Asia is heavy on fatalism. In Vietnam the ARVN troops would just sit out in plain sight on the river boats. After dark in Danang the ARVN patrol boats would just tie up somewhere and the crews would sack out. Nighttime is when all the action occurred.
