Actually, they've reported recently that the Polio virus has mutated in parts of Asia and Africa. They are calling it the "type 2 poliovirus", and they are (or have) developing a vaccine for it.

I guess the difference between the poliovirus and SARS/flus/colds is the rate of mutation. It's take a long time for a mutated variant of the poliovirus to be detected. With SARS (COVID), we're quickly running out of Greek letters for the variants, although skipping letters like "Xi" is speeding up the process.

This is what Dr Peter McCullough says too.

Also, obviously, we don’t fall for the “flu vaccine” similarity argument either, since they actually do update them for mutations. But we can reasonably assume they’re safe because they’re not gene therapy.
