It is likely the school will quickly melt and do nothing while the student Mob harrasses you with made up petitions for your expulsion. Unless you are getting paid in some way for sitting and talking, it’s time for other things. Your mother needs support too.

my goodness. what bad advice this kid is getting. he’s doing exactly the opposite of what he should do with it.
I am surprised it’s not being held for evidence in the trial of the guy who bought it for him. That dude is going to get hammered.
I actually get this, and probably would feel the same way if I was a young fellow that had (almost had, anyway) my whole life ruined due to the situation. As an old guy, my choice would be different, but I don’t think he is stupid for doing this.

Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyers need to stop putting him on display. I know he has to pay them off, but that young man has been through hell and needs to get out of the public eye. When I saw him break down at the verdict I could see he was expecting the worst. He needs to disappear and live a quiet life for a long time, and take a break for his mental state.
