That’s by design. Remember the days decades ago that only one e parent had to work to make ends meet? It was early 70’s when my mother went to work. Our family unit was never the same and soon after she started work the divorce papers got filed. Government manipulation, taxation along with feminist movement destroyed what family meant. Corporations hopped on board as well making things expensive enough that the need for a dual income could never go away for the majority of the middle class and all of lower class.
