And if you have an issue with author’s names being omitted because you object to et al, why did YOU not post the author’s names?

And just to clarify, I meant the author of the article and not you. The first four letters of that author’s first name, to be specific.

“Et al.” is short for the Latin term “et alia,” meaning “and others.” It is used in academic citations when referring to a source with multiple authors:

Perfectly legit to use. I've used it in my academic papers for school.
