When I was in high school in the 1970s if you called a black guy the “N” word, you got a punch in the nose.
Then it was over.
These kids need to go back to punching each other in the face once in a while. But that would require some physical exertion.
I went to ostensibly the worst high school in the nation. It was so bad that a woman who taught there wrote a book about her experiences. It became a hit movie “Dangerous Minds” with Michelle Pfeiffer.

On the basketball court one day, a fight almost broke out and a white kid called a black kid the ‘N’ word. The black kid was livid, told the teacher and the PE teacher said, “So what? You guys call eachother that word all the time.”
If those black folks want us to take this thing seriously, they’ll stop calling each other that terrible word. Period.
