The reality is that this case is moving forward with a great deal of press. Brian Laundrie is not going to have an opportunity to just wait it out until things blow over. The smart thing would be for Brian to emerge from hiding, and make himself available to the investigators. He can choose not to participate as he chooses, and he has every right to remain silent.

But it's not as though this guy is going to be able to get a job at Walmart or wherever and just have a normal life until murder charges either are or aren't filed against him.

From a purely practical sense, the lives of the Laundrie family are stuck at this point-which is essentially waiting to see if he's going to be charged with murder. Even his hiding doesn't prolong the investigation, it just wastes resources of the local and state law enforcement officers that are looking for him. And the parents are essentially captive in their own home.

My guess is that there will be charges of some kind filed against him- at least that's what the evidence that has been made public indicates. Running and hiding does not help him one bit.

“1. If my son came to me and told me that he had done something terrible, I would think about his future.”

I would think about his soul and turn him in immediately.

Parents protecting their children from the consequences of their own bad behavior is how we got the current generations of whining incompetent wimps and sociopaths.

Crap happens to everyone. Evil actually prefers to ambush good.

Real justice happens in the next life.

Wonder if this is the same neighbor John Walsh said observed Laundrie drive off in a xampwr with his fokks but not return with them. CNN anchor nearly shit a brick that tgw network hadn’t confirmed that but Walsh knows his onions and artoculated the the thoughts of the mass. Also mentioned Wyoming is a death penalty state.

Good point. I asked my 25 year-old son what he would want us to do in this guy’s circumstance. He said, “I wouldn’t know unless I were in that situation, but I probably wouldn’t want to involve you or Papa in that horrible mess.”

“I am very much a mother. LOL

My beloved husband says I am an ‘outsider’ as a mother. Why? Because I don’t use emotion when seeing the world as it is, rather, I see down the long-term scenario at what current actions will turn out to cause....

You’ll never believe the enemies, REAL enemies..... I’ve made because I do NOT react as a mother would when it comes to Real World actions and reactions.

Note, I’m not saying you’re wrong.

I just think very differently...

A decades old friend of mine once said if she wanted soft words and loving comments she would call/text someone else; if she wants facts and bluntness she calls/texts me. And she was drop dead serious when she made that comment.

The world needs both sides of the same coin.....

You are absolutely right. You sound like a great mom! :) I am probably too much of a softie. :)

Children need boundaries in order to grow up to be decent human beings. Sounds like you did just that. :)

All the best,
