I dealt with affirmative action for my entire career when it came to both hiring and promotions. I have no sympathy for lawyers when after all these years it is finally coming back to bite them in the a$$. The rest of us have been dealing with this ugly monster for over 40 years and now all of a sudden they start to notice? Well good for them. But it is the fault of our legal system which is made up of lawyers... they are the ones who have the power to do something about it. But will they? Not if this whiney legal eagle is representative of what they have become.

At some point, a person should sue and demand that they be accepted as (insert preferred minority here) because they self identify as such. After all, if you can change your gender, then why not your race?

Close to 30 years I was told I would not be getting a promotion because they had government contracts and there were too many white male managers.
