The latest addition to the protocol is L-leucine — and it’s a biggie. Since early on in the niatonin experiments, I had some skin issues, first with a plague of blackheads down the middle of my chest and then with a rash on my ankle.
After two days with leucine, both of these improved noticeably, and I’m hopeful that they will be resolved entirely.
Thanks for the update. I haven’t checked in for a minute. What’s it even called now?

Lucky me — I have tested positive for COVID. I spent last week at convention in Salt Lake City, and came home to a report that one of my colleagues had tested positive. I was feeling a little run down and had a little cough, so I tried out my free government test kit. The first test was inconclusive, but the second test was definitely positive.
I reported my situation on the Hom3ostasis Telegram channel. Within minutes, Dmitry offered some suggestions: increase my niacin, replace leucine with arginine (the latest addition to the protocol), add beef liver, and decrease lipoic acid. I ordered the arginine and implemented the other changes.
“at convention” -> “at a convention”
... actually the annual convention for Young Living essential oils.
I was feeling a little run down and had a little cough, so I tried out my free government test kit.
Hope it passes with little or no consequence, AZL!
It couldn’t hurt to do a little MMS protocol.
Are you getting any sun?
I followed Dmitry’s advice and slammed the coof with extra niacin. I also threw in some NAC and started L-arginine today. I think the coof has surrendered. My little cough is almost gone and I have more energy.
I went out for a walk this morning in the neighborhood just north of me — and encountered a real-life crime scene investigation. There were eight vehicles including a “crime scene unit”, a pickup from the local fire department, a couple of marked police vehicles from the Marana PD, an SUV from Pima County, and two black suburbans. I saw them take a gurney from the Pima County vehicle into the house, but I was distracted when they took it back out.
Later, when I asked an LEO what was going on, he said it was just a “medical issue”, not a real crime scene.
Right.
But at least I got some sun.
MMS?
My bout with the coof is over now, including 99% of the (minor) cough. I am now among the naturally immune.
Sadly, I do have one remaining issue. I realized over the past couple days that I have lost my sense of smell. Any skepticism I might have had about the result of the free government test was allayed by the fact that I now have what I saw as the definitive symptom. This now means that my poop smells like rose petals and also like a lump of granite, i.e, NOTHING.
I can still taste things, but smell is kaput.
I seem to recall that zinc would help recover the sense of smell, so I’m trying that.
Too much zinc can also diminish sense of smell. There have been studies that say if you challenge your sense of smell- daily regular smelling of essential oils and peanut butter coffee lemons etc can help recover it
Thanks. My brother used a similar approach to recovering smell after radiotherapy. I’ll give it a shot. With a couple of hundred essential oils in my inventory, I can start there.
🙏
I got my sense of smell back. When I mentioned the problem to a Costa Rican friend, she recommended something called Potenciator. I think it’s for IV use, which I wasn’t going to do. But I looked up the ingredients and found that the main active ingredient was L-arginine, an amino acid that had just been added to the niacin protocol a couple of weeks before. I had already purchased some, but hadn’t begun to use it yet.
After five days (as my friend predicted) with five grams of L-arginine twice a day, along with the niacin of course, my sense of smell was as good as new. L-arginine tastes terrible as a powder mixed into water — but it was worth it.
L-arginine was only in the protocol briefly, like many other candidate ingredients. It has now been supplanted by creatine (not to be confused with creatinine).
Last I checked (a week or so ago), the basic protocol is now down to three ingredients: niacin, creatine, and lipoic acid. There must be a dozen or more other ingredients which can be added “as needed” or “to comfort”.
How friggin AWESOME is that??? Very happy for you. Thank you VERY much for sharing!! God bless!
Hey, I just noticed Dmitry’s Telegram channel is no more. I haven’t gotten on to look in quite a while, but used to occasionally look up various topics there by keywords, to glean certain specific info and insights.
Are you a member of his private group? If so, I wonder if he’s ever given any specific advice on dealing with bad aftereffects to the kidneys from being given Remdesivir. This happened to someone I know, and I’m trying to search for helpful info. He still has lingering impaired lung function from the coof/pneumonia as well, and is unjabbed. Thanks in advance for anything you might be able to find out!
The Telegram channel is still there as https://t.me/HOM3OSTASIS.
I searched there and found nothing for Remdesivir recovery. I would try the niacin protocol as is, since it seems to be good for just about everything, especially including long-haul COVID.
I am a member of his private group, but most of the Q&A still goes on through Telegram. If you get a premium subscription, you can ask Dmitry questions in live sessions.
