Agreed, the skin effect that I have is not acne, which has a bacterial component. Instead it’s more a proliferation of blackheads. That’s why I conjectured that this was where my cholesterol was going.

Ya, it was more like a bumpy rash than acne. It was only on my chest. I think it was a healing crisis. My MgCl2 and DMSO solution knocked it out in a few days.

Let’s move over here, shall we for the sake of ransomnote.

Taking more niacin than you need is a bit of a misnomer. You are taking amounts that you CAN process as long as there is melatonin present IN THE CELLS to usher in the niacin. So if you BALANCE the melatonin and niacin they are both used up in the cells attacking inflammation. Viruses are attracted to inflammation.

I only trust the data. Thankfully I’ve been trained to do just that. Real studies, with real data. A lot of studies are deceptive because this crap runs so deep that people will pay researchers to come up with the answers they desire. The thing about niacin is that really good studies were done in the 40’s-60’s. Post war money funded just about anything you wanted to study.

Thanks and I appreciate it! As long as it doesn’t do something toxic I will do fine on it. It doesn’t really cause that much flushing without the melatonin so with it things should be fine as long as it doesn’t cause other problems.

Since I hurt my foot I have a lot of issues. I’m seriously depressed, can’t sleep without a lot of meds, gaining weight due to not being able to walk like I did, etc. I’m hoping it will help with all of that.

I’m desperate to find something. Still, I’m keeping my Ivermectin for a Covid infection. :-) I’m just not doing any prevention with it.

Circulation in that ankle/foot is bad so I have burning pains in it in the winter if it gets cold. I took about 150mg this morning and had a bearable flush. Once that was over the foot wasn’t burning and tingling. It would be worth trying just to make that one thing better.

That kind of dosing is old news. Presently the protocol calls for producing your own melatonin and only supplementing when necessary (severe flush). Creating your own melatonin is done through butyrate consumption.

I’ve been doing 2500N pretty regularly lately, twice a day, starting the day off with two capsules of butyrate along with many of the other factors. I take taurine occasionally, but haven’t quite made it part of my regimen. I’m using hot yoga (via Hotworx) as my sauna experience.

Summary as of 12/6/2021

T = 30+ minutes before food
T+0  Melatonin: 0.5-20 mg, until butyrate generates enough melatonin
T+10 Butyrate: 2-4 capsules to start, use less as need dissipates
T+20 Beta-Hydroxybutyrate: 6-18 g, depending on need
T+30 Food
T+60 Niacin: start at 500 mg per dose, increase over days to 3 g (if tolerable), then ease back to at least 1 g for maintenance

Co-Factors

Vitamin B Complex: every day or every other day
Vitamin C (natural food source): daily
Taurine: 800-1600 mg, with the butyrate
