ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Recall that the SAT test was supposed to promote meritocracy. Now all those white Jews and Asians who proved their merit are as racist as the WASPs the SAT was designed to defeat.

I would correct any errors that the teachers had made in their tests/worksheets.
Haha, I saw that all the time in my 10 yrs as a high school teacher. The sad thing is that these foolish teachers then mark off points on students for mistakes they themselves make.

Happens in all subjects, btw, not just math -- especially English.

I gave my kids extra credit for pointing out any errors I made. It was an incredibly effective classroom management tool.
