There might be some interaction, however in addition to the COVID issue, there are known legal battles being fought, which go at the speed of the courts/AG. Expecting them to produce assessments of data not provided to them is just being a stompy-foot child.

Again, even assuming the cooperation which did not happen, we are just at the end of the original ‘due-date’. This is different from a normal audit, since such refusal to provide materials or explanations would be an instant failure of an audit. As such, the intransigence of the County officials has a role to play in the timeframe.

This isn’t like the Durham investigation delays, or the Mueller investigation hidings, which had no particular timeframe and clearly went well beyond what was excusable - especially with what we found out about when the Mueller investigation knew what.
