I call out abuse and evil and lies when I see it.
***Same here.
Do you not know that the saints will judge the world ?
***Yes, WILL. But in the meantime we are told NOT to. Pharisaically cling to the desire to judge.
I am not arguing for clinging to a pharasaical desire to judge.
I am arguing that this is a sinful way of judging and a right way. Scripture lines it out. To piously sit by while terrible things are happening imagining you are holy is just as wrong as being a Pharisee.
Continuing to call me a Martha is perjorative and ugly. Martha wasn’t even that bad IMO - certainly she focused on a wrong priority but it was understandable; and the story rather kindly illustrates the value of devotion over works while not belittling service. Much service is extolled in Scripture, say, washing feet or alms or housing the Samaritan or making clothes for the poor. It was just a matter of when and where and Jesus instructing her does so kindly. Not like she is a raging b*
