The son had been divorced.

I believe that if someone desires to accept the blood of Christ into their soul, they should be allowed. No one should be refused.

If someone is living in sin, this is their opportunity to change and live in Christ again. If they choose to continue to live in sin the turmoil of accepting Christ would be torture, not a privilege.

Remember Jesus’s statement about being with the sinners who needed Him? I agree with that.

No person should elevate themselves above Christ by judging. His command was for us to Love our enemies.

Ok, then the problem is with Catholic church policy. The priest was just following policy.
