Just have to mention: You don't have to take the horse paste or the pills. The injectible Ivermectin from Tractor Supply is a piece of cake--and you don't have to inject it. You take it orally in a shot of water or vodka and chase with more water. It's not marketed for horses, but for swine and cattle. It's a clear gel, is easy to measure out with a measuring syringe from any big drugstore, and dissolves easily. And it doesn't take much. As I recall the dosage is 1 ml/110 lbs. body weight.
