My mother won't be able to care for him. My brother and I will do what we can but can only be limited. I'm in tears and need prayers & advise.

Unfortunately I might be able to give you some advice if you think a Nursing Home might be the solution.

Also is any dementia involved with either of your living parents?-Tom

He’s certainly not anywhere as mentally sharp as he used to be (was an engineer), forgets he’s told the same stories many times...so probably some level of dementia but you could still have a reasonable discussion.

I’m not sure they can afford a nursing home...but honestly I know little about those options & costs. Thoughts welcome.
