Some homeowners try install a door or window in a wall that looks like any other in the house it turns out to be made out of logs from the original log cabin. Instead of sledgehammers and saws to cut a doorway you now need a chainsaw. Sometimes it is a wall made of fieldstones, wattle-and-daub, etc.
