If you are post millennial, then no, because none of the signs or beasts are revealed yet.
If you are post Trib, then no, because see above.
If you are mid Trib, then no, same.
If you are Pre-Trib, then NO, because we are all still here.
So, no, no, no, no, no, and no are the answers.
It is, as some have said, setting the stage, and the precedent frighteningly so.
My problem with all analysis that takes the form of “no this is not the time because x has not happened yet” is that maybe x is happening and in any case, when x does happen, will there be some official verification site, like will God have a facebook page where He reveals that yes, x just happened, and if not, then who does get to make the call?
It must have seemed to some in the second world war that all signs were being manifested. I guess that’s an argument in the opposite direction.
I am just not sure how we “know” when the beast is manifested, when the tribulation is underway (if not already), or is it based on a groundswell of belief that I would agree has not taken place yet in this instance. I was wondering if any others were in my sort of ball park on the timing and development of this, and the other unrelated question is, does it matter how many perceive it in advance? Eventually we are assured that Christ appears and presumably then all things become explained, although perhaps an explanation won’t really be that necessary.
