Earlier this week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19. [...] His positive diagnosis, while sad, likely won’t be the end of the world for us or him. As of this writing, he’s asymptomatic and doing fine.

Then why did they test him?! Are "vaxxed" people routinely forced to undergo testing?

Then what's the advantage of being "vaxxed," again? If you still have to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and subject yourself to periodic testing?

Side note: Is the (highly infectious) governor now in quarantine? What's the advantage of being "vaxxed," again?

It is strange that his office admits he was testing DAILY. I’ve never heard of that being done. Health professionals I know only test weekly or twice a month. And immediately starting regeneron in spite of no symptoms? We can be cautiously optimistic, but I think there is more to the story.
